The iPhone app is on its way.
Sportsmen Ledger is a single self-contained app. Once it is on your phone, it needs no network at all.
The app is complete and working. It is not yet in the App Store or on Google Play. The iPhone version goes to Apple’s TestFlight beta first, and then to App Store review. Android follows.
Email Billy@sportsmenledger.com and ask for early access. When the beta opens, Apple sends you an invitation to install it. No list, no marketing, no forwarding your address to anybody.
Getting it on your phone
An account is optional. Make one in the app or on the Account page to use the same wallet on more than one screen.
iPhone & iPad
For the beta, install Apple’s free TestFlight app, then open the invitation we send you. Once the app is in the App Store, it installs like any other app.
Android
The Android version comes after the iPhone one. Email us and you will be told when it reaches Google Play.
Then put it in airplane mode
That is the real test, and the one worth doing before you rely on it. Everything you have entered is on the device. The officer view, your licenses, the law and your harvest log all open with no signal.
Before you trust it in the field
- Add your real license and check the officer view renders your full legal name and the right dates.
- Turn the phone to airplane mode and open it again.
- Read the possession rules for your state — some states will not accept a phone for some licenses, and the app names which.
- Take a backup and keep the passphrase somewhere safe. It is not recoverable.
- Carry the paper anyway, the first season.
